Gezien op IFFR. Zilveren Beer op IFF Berlijn 1988. Ook op DVD op het Britse label Artificial Eye (345DVD). Na 20 jaar op de plank te hebben gelegen, is de film tijdens de Glasnost vrijgegeven en werd terecht meteen een klassieker. In zwart-wit met verrassend einde in sepia.
